The video for sweet yet sultry dance single “After Love,” shot in an unspoiled beach in Huatulco, Mexico, was launched on February 6th. A deep beat and amazing footage of sea, sky and sand are sure to delight. Viewers will also have a hard time taking their eyes off singer Suzie Del Vecchio dancing seductively in the water.
This artist provides dazzling vocals to complement legendary British DJ Paul Oakenfold’s music. Composer Ian Green teamed up with Suzie to write the song, which she explains was inspired by new beginnings and finding that one great love after countless heartbreaking tries. “After Love” will be the theme song for the launch of an augmented reality-based app, Blippar.
Suzie, who currently lives in Los Angeles, began her career in entertainment in Mexico City. There, she joined all-girl band Chic Pack, whose song “Chiquitibum” was created to show support for the Mexican soccer team playing in the Germany 2006 World Cup. She then hosted an influential electronic music video show. Her voice, surprisingly well-suited for everything from operatic tones to rap, impressed Oakenfold, who invited her to work on numerous collaborations. One of their tracks, “Mesmerized,” attracted interest from Mexican film producers and became part of the soundtrack for a movie, “Volverte a Ver.”
