After the success of their ska night at the Levitt Pavilion at MacArthur Park a few weeks ago, Evoekore Media and Skumbag Records will be having another great night of ska, punk and reggae at The Airliner in downtown Los Angeles this coming Saturday September 21st.
Headlining the night will be L.A. ska scene veterans Roncovacoco who will be joined by River Ratts, Hub City Trash, Hijos Del Sol, Astronauta, Anesthesia, Mano Sucia and 23 Skunks.
Roncovacoco will be presenting songs from their album “Presenta…” along with new songs that they have been working into their live set.
The Airliner has Two Stages and outdoor patio and balcony, and 2 fully stocked bars.
The show is 18+ and Ages 21+ gets in free before 8pm and if you can’t make it before 8 pm, tickets are only $10 at the door. ID is required to get in.
The people at Evoekore never rest and on October 6th, they will be presenting a show at the legendary Whisky A Go Go on the Sunset Strip which has been aptly named “Heavyweights of Skacore” which will include a who’s who of the southern California ska scene with La Resistencia, Red Store Bums, Chencha Berrinches, Mafia Rusa, Matamoska and No Moral.
So for all you music lovers, punkers and skankers mark your calendars and don’t miss these two awesome shows.
