RAYMIX, The creator behind electro cumbia is celebrating the release of his new album, ‘MI OTRA MITAD,’ consisting of thirteen songs produced by Raymix himself and featuring special collaborations with artists from different genres adapted to the cumbia style, enhancing each of the songs.
‘Mi Otra Mitad’ is a very special album for Raymix, as he introduces for the first time his alter ego, Edmundo Gomez, portraying his sensitivity and creativity, and being transparent by removing the dark glasses and the cap that have characterized him during presentations.
This new project includes love songs such as, “Supernova,” “Los Caminos Del Amor,” the melodic “Mi Otra Mitad,” “Imposible,” songs about heartbreak like “3 Minutos” with Mariana Seoane, “Desvelo” with C-Kan, “Nada” and the radio hit “El Final De Nuestra Historia” with Grupo Quintanna, besides casual songs like “55” with queen bee Chiquis, “Nunca Tristes Remix,” “Cruda” with Maria León and more. It is worth mentioning that in this new material, Raymix included two special songs out of the electro cumbia genre: “Adicto a Tu Cuerpo” where he shares his talents with Gera Demara, and a dance song with Mi$HNRZ titled, “Delorean Remix.”
The single that lends its title to the album is a ballad where Raymix talks about all of the emotions we feel when we’re happy alone while feeling satisfied when being with another person which complements both the soul and the plans. This song comes with a video recorded in Mazatlán, showcasing the joy you feel when you’re in love.
