Eugenio Derbez, of telenovela fame and The Book of Life, will sizzle the big screen in his upcoming comedy, How to Be a Latin Lover.
Derbez plays Maximo, a Latino who has made a career out of seducing women until he hit the jackpot by marrying a wealthy, older woman. Things don’t turn out well for Maximo when his sugar mama leaves him for a younger man.
Familial love comes in when Maximo moves in with his sister, Sara (played by Salma Hayek), and bonds with his nephew through unconventional means.
How to Be a Latin Lover premieres in the United States on April 28, 2017, and in Mexico on May 5, 2017.
