The red carpet in 2014 was filled with the Hollywood glam that deserves attention. The color of the night appeared to be soft pail or pastels for the ladies and white coats and jackets for the men. My favorite looks were the actresses that rocked their gowns with high fashion style and sexy silhouettes.
Charlize Theron as always was on point with her red carpet gown, a dress to die for from Christian Dior, this is not your basic black ladies and the invisible illusion straps were the key that took this dress to over the top fabulous.
Sandra Bullock redeems herself at the Oscars with this gorgeous dark blue Alexander McQueen gown. Blue is my favorite color first of all, the way that the dress was draped and the way the material just flowed on the red carpet was a definite thumbs up!
Last but not least, my pick for best dressed goes to Kate Hudson in Versace. This dress was not only sexy but it screams old Hollywood glam. This is what the stars are supposed to do on red carpet, wow the crowd with their stunning looks, anything too simple, too boring or too safe will never satisfy the hungry media beast.
Please take notes from this lady and the stylist that put this look together, this is how you steal the most important award night, even if you are nor nominated.
