Her unique sound blends the Latin rhythm’s of her heritage with indie/pop sensibilities, fusing reggaeton and dancehall beats with lush, captivating melodies. “This song is very meaningful to me because it’s the most vulnerable and open I’ve ever been on any song I’ve ever written. I wrote ‘Corazón Partido’ a couple days after a huge breakup and I was feeling like nothing could ever heal me. I was very emotional and desperate to feel myself again…I wrote the song so fast that it truly felt like I needed to get something off my chest. It definitely captures a different side of me most people haven’t seen before,” explains Kablito.
The Los Angeles-based singer-songwriter continues to evolve through collaborations with some of the best producers in the industry, including Tainy, DVLP, Samuel Kareem, and others.
Kablito is currently working on her next EP, due for release in early 2020.
