This week is the beginning of Fashion Week in NYC, and of course I am heartbroken that I am not there. Now Fashion Week is my Super Bowl! This is where you can experience what designers have come up with for inspiration of their new fashion lines, the trend setters and of course the artists that dance to the beat of their own drum. I personally find these three designers my favorite for very different reasons, starting with Narciso Rodriguez. His line is very modern, sexy without being vulgar, classic with lines in the clothes that do nothing but compliment a woman’s physique. Classic yet still modern is Ms. Donna Karan who is one of my favorites; fun fact is that one of her aliases is Donkey Kong. DKNY is a line of clothes for an effortless chic look, definitely sexy, but modern pieces that can be in your closet for many seasons to come, perfect for that city girl who balances work and fun. Her designs can be appropriate for both. Last but definitely not least is Betsey Johnson, who does not care about rules, trends or anything in the “norm”. Ms. Johnson creates fun, colorful, outrageous silhouettes for that girl inside all of us ladies who still just want to have fun.
With the above being said, it is really very simple ladies, no matter what your personal style is keep it sexy, classy and fun!
