DOCEMIL Music, the record label of HYBE Latin America, is pleased to announce the addition of talented Mexican artist, producer, composer, and drummer Adrian Cota to its musical family. With a career from collaborating with music icons to creating his innovative sound, Cota became the first emerging artist signed to the label, marking a milestone in HYBE’s expansion into Spanish-language music.

The contract was signed in the presence of Jonghyun ‘JH’ Kah, CEO of HYBE Latin America, Isaac Lee, Chairman, Fernando Grediaga, General Manager of HYBE Latin America, and Spencer Ludwig, manager of Adrian Cota.

“Adrian represents HYBE Latin America’s vision to propel Latin talent on a global scale. His versatility as a musician, producer and songwriter makes him a key player in our mission to redefine the Latin music industry,” said Fernando Grediaga, General Manager of HYBE Latin America. “We are excited to join him in this new phase and bring his music to an even wider audience.

Originally from Guasave, Mexico, and based in Los Angeles, Adrian Cota has had an impressive career. From his beginnings playing drums in his family’s band at the age of five to his time at Berklee College of Music, Cota has collaborated with renowned artists such as Herbie Hancock, Juanes, Fuerza Regida, Cody Simpson and many more. Most recently, he co-wrote and produced the official anthem of Major League Soccer in collaboration with Take a Daytrip and Fuerza Regida. Now, with his affiliation with DOCEMIL Music, he is preparing to release his debut album, fusing regional Mexican music with soul, funk, and pop influences, highlighting his Latin roots with a strong Mexican essence present in each of his songs.

“Signing with DOCEMIL Music and being part of HYBE Latin America is a dream come true,” said Adrian Cota. “Since the beginning of my career, it has been my mission to create authentic music that connects with people. I’m grateful to the team for believing in my vision and what will come.

With this signing, DOCEMIL Music reaffirms its commitment to supporting and amplifying the voice of Latin artists in the global industry. Adrian Cota’s debut under the label is scheduled for the summer of 2025, promising a fresh and unique approach to Latin music.
