The Grammy-nominated producer and nu-cumbia innovator El Dusty is back with a track that’s pure fire. “Aye Papi” combines Dusty’s signature Tejano-inspired cumbia sound with Ratchetón’s bold bilingual flow and Harlay’s smooth vocals, all held together by a hypnotic beat co-produced with Ace1.
Born out of a creative writing camp in the heart of Cumbia City (Corpus Christi, TX), this track is a tribute to the city’s rich musical legacy—and the powerful women who fuel the energy. With pulsating percussion, entrancing synths, and catchy hooks, “Aye Papi” is guaranteed to bring the heat from Texas to the tropics.

Born and raised in Corpus Christi, Texas, El Dusty is a pioneer of nu-cumbia, fusing the rich heritage of Latin music with hip-hop and electronic influences. His unique sound is deeply rooted in his upbringing, where Tejano anthems and Chicano soul met the heavy basslines of reggae and house music. Known for his innovative use of the MPC2000 sampler and deep cuts of Latin classics, El Dusty has collaborated with artists like Santa Fe Klan, Mexican Institute of Sound, and Erick Rincón. When he’s not in his studio at Americano Label, he’s performing around the world and working on major brand projects for companies like Pepsi, Jack Daniels, and Red Bull.

Bilingual Salvadoran artist RATCHETÓN hit the Latin music scene with his first single “Que Lo Que,” racking up over 350,000 streams and jumpstarting a growing fanbase. The catchy melodic hook floats over a tropical trap beat by multi-platinum producer FKi 1st (Post Malone, Travis Scott, A. Chal) and newcomer Isvir Beats.
